You are hereby notified that                                      has been suspended and recommended for expulsion for the following reasons:

                                                 will remain suspended from school pending a hearing by the Superintendent of Schools or his designee regarding the recommended expulsion.

The parent or tutor of the student may within five (5) days after the decision is rendered by the principal request that the Superintendent or his designee at a time set, review the findings of the principal, otherwise, reviewing the findings of the principal, the Superintendent or his designee may affirm, modify or reverse the action previously taken.

You will be notified of the date on which the hearing will be held by the Superintendent.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE RECOMMENDATION FOR EXPULSION

You are hereby notified that a hearing will be held in the office of the Superintendent at the Washington Parish School Board Office,

800 Main Street, Franklinton, Louisiana, on the        day  of                    20    commencing at     o'clock regarding the recommendation received by

this office for the expulsion of                                      as a result of the following act(s) of misconduct:

The hearing will be conducted by the Superintendent of Schools or his designee and at this hearing the student may‑be represented by any person of his choice.  Until such hearing takes place, the student shall remain suspended from school.

The parent or guardian of the student may within five (5) days after the decision is rendered by the Superintendent or his designee request the Parish School Board to review the finding, otherwise, the decision will be final.  If request is granted and after reviewing the findings of the Superintendent or his designee, the School Board may affirm, modify, or reverse the action previously taken.

If you desire to attend the hearing, please be present at the School Board Office on the date and time set forth above. If you are unable to attend, please call 839-3436 and let us know.

You will be notified in writing of the action taken by this office of the Superintendent in this matter.
