SELECTION OF AUDIO-VISUAL MATERIALS

MUSIC IN SCHOOLS AND ATHLETIC EVENTS

It shall be the policy of this Washington Parish School Board that music played in schools of the parish can be done only with prior approval of the school principal or his/her designee.  Music containing lyrics with vulgar and/or profane language is not permissible at any time or at any place under the jurisdiction of this school board.

The principal and his/her designee shall be responsible for any violations of this policy.
