The Washington Parish School Board met in special session on the above date with the following members present: Dan Slocum, John Wyble, Bruce Brown, John Breland, Matthew Tate, Alan McCain, Dewitt Perry and Lesley McKinley.  Absent: Mary Adams.

Agenda Item #1 - Call to order

The meeting was called to order by President Alan McCain. 

Agenda Item #2 – Invocation

The invocation was given by Bruce Brown.

Agenda Item #3 – Pledge of Allegiance

Agenda Item #4 – Discuss and take appropriate action regarding the redistricting plan.

Buddy Jenkins, Redistricting Consultant, was in attendance at tonight’s meeting for any further questions from the Board or public.  Bruce Brown had several questions for Mr. Jenkins.  After discussion, it was moved by John Wyble, seconded by Dewitt Perry, that the Board adopt Plan C for redistricting.  A roll call vote was taken with a unanimous decision.

Agenda Item #5 – Public Input

There was several in attendance at tonight’s meeting.  Several asked questions and made statements concerning the redistricting plans.

Agenda Item #6 – Consider a motion to adjourn.

It was moved by John Wyble, seconded John Breland, that the Board adjourn.  Motion carried unanimously.
